Vegging out at the movies

We hardly ever go to the movies. Not that we don’t love them. I think three obstacles stand in our way:....more>>

  • Getaway creates memories
Over a year ago, before we even turned the big 4-0, four of my college friends and I were planning a weekend trip to celebrate this birthday milestone. After discussing various options, we decided upon French Lick for our girlfriends’ getaway.

  • GPS stands for girlfriend
My husband is in love with another woman. Her name is Esmerelda.
    I named her.

  • Where did I park my car?
Whether we want to admit it or not, many of us have gone shopping and been faced with the same frightening, and perhaps, embarrassing dilemma.

  • Mud wrestling possible
I woke Bill up the other night by laughing in my sleep, he told me the next day.

  • 'I care aboutr the here and now'
Each night many individuals fill coffee makers with water, pour their flavor preference into a paper filter, check the clock against the correct time and hope it will automatically begin the next morning’s sequence with freshly brewed coffee. It should be ready at first light, so slipping into a comfortable bed for restful sleep is logical.

  • Green is the new black
I’m always coming late to the party. For instance, I began liking the Beatles’ music after they broke up.

  • Was it curse or coincidence?

  • Dodge drivers steal the show at Daytona
The expected battle between the two powerhouse Sprint Cup teams of Joe Gibbs Racing and Hendrick Motorsports failed to materialize during the Daytona 500, but drivers in Dodge’s that stole the show.

  • All I really need to know
As I grow older and have to deal with all the responsibilities that go with being an adult, such as paying bills, cleaning house and going to work each day, I sometimes wish I could go back to the days when life was less stressful.
I look at my younger family members and realize we could learn a lot from watching and listening to them and how they see life through a child’s eyes.
