Peter Paul Office Equipment expands west

BATESVILLE — 2012 was an exciting year for Peter Paul Office Equipment and its customers. Effective June 1, 2012, the Cincinnati company purchased the office equipment portion of Batesville Business Machines. Good friends Curt Mergenthal, BBM owner, and John Wellage and Dave Gutzwiller, PPOE owners, made the decision to unite two of the most respected office equipment dealers.

“Curt Mergenthal still provides the same great office products and partners with Peter Paul Office Equipment to provide businesses with all their office needs,” notes Wellage, PPOE account executive.

Peter Paul Office Equipment has been servicing and selling office equipment (copiers,  printers, scanners, fax machines and shredders) in Ohio, Kentucky and Indiana since 1932. It is an authorized Lanier dealer, but the firm’s highly-trained technicians service all makes and models.

Wellage says, “Building on the strengths of both companies, this change will significantly improve our abilities to provide the outstanding customer service you are accustomed to and increase our flexibility to meet the market’s ever-changing needs.”

Gutzwiller, PPOE vice president, is a homegrown Hoosier. When he’s not working, he can be seen regularly at Batesville sporting events, cheering on his beloved Batesville Bulldogs; playing a round at North Branch Golf Course, New Point; or throwing strikes at East Bowl Family Fun Center. He is excited to have an office in his hometown and provide area residents with the best service and products in the industry.
