---- — Rural Alliance for the Arts leaders recently named Joan Kuhlman executive director of the organization. Kuhlman has been the Batesville nonprofit’s administrator since 2005.
President T.J. Greene pointed out, “Joan was already fulfilling many of the responsibilities of a director.”
He added, “Joan is a tremendous asset to the RAA and the Batesville community. Elevating her role to executive director better matches the leadership structure of similar organizations. We believe it will maintain the RAA’s credibility as we continue to grow and enhance our promotion of the arts by providing opportunities for artistic expression, education and enjoyment throughout the area.”
The change was approved at the Oct. 1 RAA Board of Directors meeting and is effective immediately.
