Workshops target new businesses

There are two upcoming Southeast Indiana Small Business Development Center Launching Your Own Business workshops at the Elsby building in downtown New Albany: May 14, 6-9 p.m. and May 24, 9:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m.

This workshop will step attendees through the process of starting a business and provide them with a guide through the business plan, a necessary tool for all start-ups and existing businesses, especially if the company is looking for a loan.

The $35 event fee includes all materials, live instruction and a subscription to the center’s $40 online business plan guide, SmallBizNavigator. To register: http://isbdc.org/, click on Workshops and Events; or 812-952-9765.
