Two job fairs soon

— Job opportunities may be available at two upcoming area events.

The second annual Community Assisted Supported Employment Job Fair is Thursday, April 18, from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. at Ivy Tech Community College, 50 W Walnut St., Lawrenceburg. The 2012 fair had over 200 participants seeking employment or training opportunities. Info: employment specialist Tony Messer, 812-537-7379.

Over 150 jobs, including machine operators, processing associates, hot end general services and processing engineers, will be explained at an event sponsored by the Economic Development Corp. of Greensburg-Decatur County and Greensburg-Decatur County Chamber of Commerce. It’s slated for Thursday, April 25, from 11 a.m.-7 p.m. at the Greensburg City Hall Auditorium, 314 W. Washington St., Greensburg.

Expected employers include Honda, Hitachi Powdered Metals, Valeo, GECOM, OSL and Woodmizer and staffing agencies. Job seekers are highly encouraged to bring current resumes and dress appropriately for interviews. Info: Natasha Kellerman, nkellerman@edcgdc.com.
