St. Andrews Health Campus kicked off the summer season by hosting a special community ceremony in honor of Flag Day, reported Liz Kellerman, community services representative.
The ceremony consisted of American Legion members, who performed “Taps” and presented the flag. Tim Bedel sang the national anthem and “God Bless America” and Judge Kellerman spoke to the residents and community members about the history and importance of Flag Day. After the celebration, guests were treated to a complimentary brunch prepared by the campus chef.
“It was a perfect day for the ceremony, and the turnout was overwhelming,” stated activities director Kristin Rowland.
“There were lots of people from the community who came to the campus to celebrate this special day with us, and we appreciate everyone who volunteered to help make the ceremony such a success!” expressed Liz Kellerman.
