---- — Walhill Farm, a casually elegant artisanal restaurant, is proud to commemorate its first year of service to the public of Batesville and the Greater Tristate area. Its “unique ambiance is a careful balance of luxury and down-home comforts that make it the perfect locale to schedule a business meeting, a reunion of old friends or an intimate date night,” reports owner Peter Hillenbrand.
Live music is offered on Friday and Saturday nights.
The restaurant’s dishes are almost entirely made using ingredients from Walhill’s 250 acres of farmland. The produce is grown there, and the meat cuts, sausages and terrines are also prepared on site. “Anything that doesn’t come directly from the farm itself is sourced from nearby businesses, which supports the local economy as well as ensures maximum palate-pleasing freshness,” he points out.
