Studio will showcase music and art

Musica Bella is a new music studio that specializes in voice training (singing lessons) for all ages, beginner through advanced, and piano instruction.

It is owned and instructed by Temple Hite-Gordon, a local performer and teacher. She prefers a holistic approach to teaching by tailoring lessons to the individual needs and goals of the student. In order to provide various experiences and opportunities for students, there are regular field trips for both young and adult students. So far, trips have included visits to see an opera, symphony, musical and May Festival concert. In addition, students have regularly scheduled opportunities to perform publicly.

Hite-Gordon is most proud of her time singing with the May Festival Chorus, Cincinnati, a group of professionally trained singers who comprise the core artistic element during May Festival. This group is also the official chorus of the Cincinnati Symphony and Pops Orchestra, which has earned acclaim locally, nationally and internationally for its musicality, range of repertoire and power of sound.

The studio will also showcase fine art from Tri-State Artisans, “which will further provide exposure and enrichment for music students as well as give fine artists their own space for the community to view and purchase their work,” Hite-Gordon reveals.

Musica Bella’s Christmas open house is Sunday, Dec. 15, from 5-7 p.m. This event is open to the community, family and friends. There will be an assortment of Christmas music performed by students and area musicians. Visitors will also be able to view the art and enjoy refreshments.
