-- — Two Southeast Indiana Small Business Development Center workshops take place soon at the Columbus Area Chamber of Commerce.
The three-hour “Starting Your Business with a Plan” is Tuesday, July 10, at 5 p.m. “The business plan is a necessary tool for all business start-ups and existing businesses, especially if the company is looking for a loan of any type,” the news release said. The $25 fee will include materials, instruction and a subscription to a $30 online business plan guide.
“Minority- and Veteran-Owned Business Certification” will be led by Southeast ISBDC adviser Eric Kranz Thursday, July 12, from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. The $50 fee will include a light lunch.
A certified professional accountant will be on hand to discuss the legal structuring of a business. Participants who haven't already done so will be registering with the secretary of state, IRS and Department of Revenue, which will cost nearly $120.
