Businesses recognize two babies

---- — Every January, special recognition is given to the first baby born at Margaret Mary Health in the new year, notes communications specialist Becky Walter. The last baby of 2013 also received attention and giveaways.

Ayden James Davidson, Greensburg, was born at 7:38 a.m. Dec. 31. Delivered by Dr. Lee Ann Bauer, he weighed 8 pounds, 7 ounces, and measured 19 inches in length. H&R Block, Batesville, officials gave the infant a basket of goodies, including diapers, laundry detergent, a piggy bank, onesies and a bib that reads, “I am a new tax deduction.”

Born at 2:31 p.m. Jan. 2, Ezabella Balbina Laug, Milan, became the first baby born at the hospital in 2014. Dr. Jeffrey Hatcher delivered the infant, who weighed 6 pounds, 10 ounces, and measured 19 inches in length. MMH leaders presented Ezabella with a $50 gift card.
