Old National leaders named to executive group

Two Old National Bank officials have been promoted to its Executive Leadership Group, Mark Bradford, North Central Region CEO, and Ken Ellspermann, investments president. The group “is comprised of Old National’s senior-most leaders and responsible for helping to shape all policy and strategy decisions for the company,” explains Nina Schultheis, corporate communication specialist.

“I’m pleased that these two exceptional leaders are joining Old National’s Executive Leadership Group. Their knowledge and guidance will be a great benefit,” said Bob Jones, Old National president and CEO. “Mark and Ken have consistently demonstrated sound judgment and used their exemplary management skills to grow and enhance their client-focused teams and products. They are both true examples of what it means to be a servant leader.”

Prior to Old National, Bradford was with Monroe Bank, where he served as president, CEO and director from 1999- 2011. In addition to being named to the ELG, Bradford oversees banks in Batesville, Bloomington, Columbus, Bedford, Seymour, Brownstown and North Vernon. The region will be expanded to include the new Fort Wayne Region when the Tower Bank transaction is completed. The certified public accountant holds an accounting degree from Indiana State University.

He has a long history of community involvement. Bradford is currently a board of directors member for the Bloomington Community Foundation, Bloomington Economic Development Corp. and Monroe County Community School Corp. Building Corp. He is also a member of the Childs Elementary School Improvement Task Force and Indiana State University President’s Advisory Board.

Ellspermann joined Old National Signature Group in 2001 as president of investment services. Before joining the company, he was vice president and sales manager of the Indianapolis Complex with Merrill Lynch. He also previously served as CNB Bancshares senior vice president, manager of brokerage and private banking.

Ellspermann holds a bachelor’s degree in finance from Purdue University and an MBA from the University of Evansville. He also earned an ABA National School of Bank Investments and Financial Management diploma, is a Treasury Management Association certified cash manager and is a FINRA fully registered financial adviser and principal.

His civic and volunteer activities include serving on the board of Evansville’s Gilda Club, of which he is a founding member. He is also very active in Kairos prison ministries. Ellspermann has served on numerous boards, including the American Cancer Society and Evansville Catholic Diocese, and for years he has been instrumental in helping to lead Old National’s United Way fundraising efforts.
