---- — Hillenbrand Inc. (NYSE: HI) President and CEO Joe Raver has been elected to the Manufacturers Alliance for Productivity and Innovation (MAPI) Board of Trustees, said Hillenbrand senior communications associate Tyler Stock. MAPI is a nationwide member organization focused on building strong leadership within manufacturing, and driving the growth, profitability and stature of global manufacturers.
Raver noted, “It is an honor to be elected to the MAPI Board of Trustees as they continue to advocate pro-business and pro-growth ideas across the country. I look forward to joining this strong group of manufacturing leaders as we collaborate on strategies, best practices and solutions to challenges facing industry.”
As a trustee, Raver will work with fellow manufacturing executives to further advance MAPI’s industry-leading mission of driving business research, providing executive education and advocating for manufacturing interests. There are currently 41 members on the MAPI Board of Trustees, and they meet three times annually.
Raver was named President and CEO of Hillenbrand Sept. 6. Prior to taking the helm, he held several executive roles during his 18 years with the company, including president for each of the company’s two segments: Process Equipment Group and Batesville. He has also held key leadership posts in the areas of logistics, strategy and merchandising.
