Library Happenings

Knights of St. John

The Batesville Knights of St. John Commandery No. 243 will meet at the Knights home Jan. 3, 7:30 p.m. There will be an election of officers and 2013 dues are payable.

Red Hat Deadline

The Red Hat Belles of Batesville will meet Jan. 9, noon, for  lunch and a meeting, RomWeber Flats. Please use the entrance across from the Marketplace on Depot Street. Those who have a craft demonstration can share with the group.Reservations due by Jan. 3: Eleen Weisenbach, 934-3484.

Food Giveaway

A Ripley County Food Pantry large food giveaway is Jan. 4, 11 a.m. until the food runs out, Osgood fairgrounds. Persons in need who live in Laughery, Center, Delaware, Jackson, Johnson and Otter Creek townships are eligible.

WWII Discussion Group

The World War II Discussion Group will meet Jan. 8, 10 a.m., The Waters of Batesville. The Honor Flight Program and Arlington National Cemetery will be discussed.
