The Lt. Jacob Blasdel Family Reunion is Oct. 13, 1 p.m., Jody Blasdel’s home, Stateline Road, Bright. Fried chicken provided. Bring tableware and drinks for family and covered dish to share. Short meeting follows.

The Batesville Knights of Columbus will have a recruitment day Oct. 13, 1-6 p.m. Persons interested in joining can get information and ask questions.

Monday, Oct. 14

Tuesday, Oct. 15

Beginning Oct. 15, Rumpke will begin collecting garbage once a week. Residences and businesses north of State Road 46 East, East Pearl Street, West Pearl Street and County Line Road will have their garbage collected on Tuesdays, with the remainder of the city collected on Fridays.
