A Batesville K12 pasta dinner open to the public is Oct. 11, 5-7 p.m., Batesville Intermediate School cafeteria. Freewill donations. RSVPs appreciated: 812-216-8137.

The Franklin County Arts Council Oktoberfest Dinner and Dance is Oct. 11, Brookville Knights of Columbus hall. German meal, 6 p.m.; music by Squeezeplay, 7-10 p.m. Tickets are $15. Cash bar. Info: Patti Wilhelm, 765-309-1473.

Saturday, Oct. 12

The Batesville K12, a 12K race organized by the Batesville Community Education Foundation, is Oct. 12, 9 a.m., George-Main streets intersection. The entry fee is $30 for individuals and $45 for four-member relay teams. Info: http://batesvilleeducationfoundation.org or 812-216-8137.

A Silent Auction, Soup Cook-off Dinner and Family Fun Night for Haiti is Oct. 12, St. Anthony’s Schad Hall, Morris. Dinner, 5 p.m. Bidding closes at 9 p.m. All proceeds go to help people of Haiti. Info: 812-614-1784.

The Oak Heritage Conservancy annual meeting is Oct. 19, The Butcher Shoppe Bar & Grill at Walhill Farm.
