Harvest Dinner

St. Charles Catholic Church, Milan, will hold its ninth annual Harvest Dinner Oct. 20. Roast pork dinners served 4-7 p.m. Cost: adults, $10; kids 5-12, $4; and under 5, free. Carryouts available. Raffle, country store, pony rides for kids.

Pork Chop Supper

The Hamburg Knights of St John pork chop supper is Oct 20, 4-7:30 p.m., Hamburg hall. Cost is $10. Purchase a reverse raffle ticket and receive a meal discount. Info: Dan Nobbe, 934-3979.

Haiti Ministry Fundraiser

The St. Anthony Haiti Ministry Committee is sponsoring a silent auction and family fun night Oct. 20, 5-9 p.m., Schad Hall, Morris. Freewill donation soup and salad supper, 5-8 p.m. Music, kids’ games. All proceeds go to helping the people of Gandou, Haiti. Fear Factory

Pumpkin Fall Fest

The Catholic Order of Foresters is hosting a pumpkin fall festival Oct. 21, noon-5 p.m., St. Leon.

“October Baby”

The St. Louis Respect Life Committee is sponsoring a free movie event featuring “October Baby” Oct. 21, 4 p.m., Gibson Theater. Rated PG-13.

Turkey Bingo

A turkey bingo will be held Oct. 21, 6 p.m., St. Joseph Parish Life Center, St. Leon.

Library Happenings

Red Ribbon Week Speech

As a kick-off to Red Ribbon Week, Chad Varga, founder of InspireNow, will deliver a free, faith-based message to families and citizens Oct. 22, 7 p.m., Franklin County High School auditorium His visit is sponsored by Franklin County Stayin’ Alive, in cooperation with the Franklin County Community School Corp.
