Stillboard Shoot

The Sons of the American Legion Stillboard Shoot is Oct. 14, noon, Batesville American Legion Post 271, 2899 E. Legion Road. Info: 934-2228.

Stillboard Shoot

The HOBOS (Helpers On Bikes Organization)  Stillboard Shoot is Oct. 14, noon, Franklin County Conservation Club, Brookville. Ham, bacon, loin and money shoots. Info: Fred Hogan, 765-580-2383.

Blasdel Reunion

The Lt. Jacob Blasdel family reunion is Oct. 14, 1 p.m., Jody and Karen Blasdel residence, Stateline Road, Bright. Fried chicken provided. Attendees should bring tableware, drinks and a covered dish.

Cierra Adams Memorial Walk

The Cierra Adams Memorial Walk is Oct. 14, 1 p.m., Liberty Park. The walk’s purpose is to educate citizens about drug addictions and treatment options.

Right to Life

Southeastern Indiana Right to Life will meet Oct. 15, 7 p.m., Versailles Church of Christ, Jarvis Drive.

 

Tuesday, Oct. 16

Garbage Collection

Beginning Oct. 16, Linkel Co. will revert back to once-a-week garbage collection in Batesville. Trash at residences and businesses north of State Road 46 East, East Pearl Street, West Pearl Street and County Line Road will be collected on Tuesdays, with the remainder collected on Fridays.

Blood Drive

Margaret Mary Community Hospital is hosting a blood drive Oct. 16, 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Info or to schedule an appointment: 933-5274.

7-Up Cards

The Batesville Knights of St. John 7-Up card games start Oct. 16, 1 p.m., at the hall.

Library Happenings

The Greensburg-Decatur County Public Library will sponsor one-on-one computer time Oct. 16, 2 p.m. Info: 812-663-2826.

Genealogy Discussion

Genealogy and history research tips will be offered during a discussion group Oct. 16, 2:30 p.m., Laurel Library.
