The Batesville Memorial Public Library trustees will meet Jan. 29, 5 p.m.

Friday, Jan. 31

The Batesville Community Education Foundation Tip-off Chili Dinner is Jan. 31, 5-7:30 p.m., Batesville High School cafeteria.

The Greensburg-Decatur County Public Library will host a Teen Girls’ Spa Night for grades 6-12, 6-9:30 p.m. Info and to register: 812-663-2826.

Sunman Elementary School full-day kindergarten registrations for the 2014-15 school year will be accepted during January. Children must be 5 by Aug. 1 to enroll. A certified, county-issued birth certificate and current immunization records (even if not yet complete) are required. Registration forms: ses.sunmandearborn.k12.in.us under the “Info” tab. The Batesville Eagles will host the band SPORKS Jan. 31, 8 p.m.-midnight.

The East Central High School Senior Drama Club will present “1984” by George Orwell Jan. 31, 7 p.m., and Feb. 1, 2 and 7 p.m., Performing Arts Center.

Saturday, Feb. 1

Batesville Youth Baseball sign ups are Feb. 1 and 22, 9 a.m.-noon, Southeastern Indiana YMCA. Online registration is also open until March 1 without a late fee at www.batesvillebaberuth.com.

All Saints Parish and School will present Night in Italy lasagna dinner Feb. 1, St. Paul Gym, New Alsace. Doors open 5 p.m. Cost: adults, $15; ages 6-12, $8; ages 5 and under, free. Advance tickets: 812-623-2631 or stpaul@etczone.com. Tickets also available at the door.

Sunday, Feb. 2
