Saturday, Jan. 25

A blood drive, sponsored by Hoxworth Blood Center, will be held Jan. 25, 9 a.m.-2:30 p.m., Sunman American Legion hall. Info or to schedule appointment: Roger Lang, 812-623-3685 or www.hoxworth.org/groups/sunman. Walk-ins welcome.

The Knights of Columbus Council 1461 Free Throw Contest is Jan. 25, noon, St. Louis Activity Center. Entry forms are available at area schools.

Holy Family Catholic Church will have a turtle soup sale Jan. 25, Village Store, Oldenburg; and in church Jan. 25 after 5:30 p.m. Mass and Jan. 26 after 8 a.m. Mass (if still available). All proceeds go to Religious education programs.

Sunday, Jan. 26

The Oldenburg Knights of St. John will host a breakfast Jan. 26, 7 a.m.-noon, Holy Family Church cafeteria, Oldenburg. Freewill offering. Partial proceeds benefit the Tri-County Council for Special People.

The Batesville Knights of Columbus will host a 1st Degree Initiation Jan. 26, 10 a.m. Candidates should arrive by 9:30 a.m. for registration. Info: Scot Harmeyer, 933-9046.
