Alcoholics Anonymous

“Closed meetings” for those who are alcoholics are Thursdays, 7:30 p.m., Margaret Mary Health auditorium; Mondays, noon, Batesville Memorial Public Library meeting room; and Mondays, 7 p.m., and Saturdays, 7:30 p.m.,151 E. 4th St., Brookville.

Batesville Al-Anon

Meetings for persons who have friends or relatives with drinking problems are Thursdays, 7:30 p.m., Margaret Mary Health 1932 building first floor Vista Conference Room. Info: 934-2487.

Batesville Area Historical Society Museum

Hours are Thursdays, 9 a.m.-3 p.m.; and Saturdays, 9 a.m.-noon, 15 W. George St.

Batesville Area Ministerial Association Food Pantry

The pantry, 120 S. Sycamore St., which aids persons who live within the Batesville school district or have Batesville addresses, is open Wednesdays, noon-4 p.m. Info: 932-2622.

Batesville GoldenCitizens Card Party

Meets the first, third, fourth and fifth Wednesdays, 6-9 p.m., and first and fourth Wednesdays, 1 p.m., Memorial Building basement; and second Wednesdays, 6-9 p.m., Heritage House. Info: Helen Ellinghausen, 934-4359.

Batesville Memorial Public Library Storytime

Held Tuesdays, 10 a.m. (registration required), 11:15 a.m., 12:10 p.m. and 5:30 p.m.; and Mother Goose on the Loose, a lap sit storytime for children birth to age 3 with an adult, Mondays, 10 a.m. (registration required). Info: 934-4706.

Bridge Games and Lessons

Games are Mondays, 9 a.m.-noon, Memorial Building basement.

Eagles Auxiliary Dinner

Served Fridays, 5-8 p.m., for members and guests. Wing nights are Tuesdays, 5-8 p.m. Info: 934-3610.

Kiwanis Club of Batesville

Breakfast meetings are Tuesdays, 6:30 a.m., Sherman House. Info: Henry Pictor, 934-4397.

Knights of Columbus Dinner

Meals are served Fridays, 5-8 p.m. Info: 934-2729.

Narcotics Anonymous

Open meetings for persons addicted to drugs and alcohol are Tuesdays and Thursdays, 7-8 p.m. , The Upper Room, 124 E. 6th St. Brookville. Info: 765-698-7714.

Overeaters Anonymous

Meetings for those who have a desire to stop eating compulsively are Saturdays, 9 a.m., Southeastern Indiana YMCA adult lounge; and Tuesdays, 6 p.m., Memorial Building first floor conference room or basement. Info: www.oa.org.
