Breakfast

The Holy Family Religious Education breakfast is March 10, 7 a.m.-noon, Holy Family Church cafeteria, Oldenburg. Proceeds support Religious education programs.

The Morris Volunteer Firemen’s breakfast is March 10, 7 a.m.-1 p.m., Schad Hall, Morris. Freewill offering. Proceeds go toward equipment.

OFC Program

Chicken Dinner

The New Alsace American Legion will hold an all-you-can-eat chicken dinner March 10, noon-5 p.m. Cost: adults, $10; children under 10, $5; under 3, free.

Civilian Conservation Corps

“Dollar-A-Day Boys,” a musical tribute to the Civilian Conservations Corps, will be presented by author and storyteller Bill Jamerson March 11, 2 p.m., Batesville Memorial Public Library.

Civilian Conservation Corps

“Dollar-A-Day Boys,” a musical tribute to the Civilian Conservations Corps, will be presented by author and storyteller Bill Jamerson March 12, noon, Tyson Library, Versailles. Guests are invited to bring lunches. Drinks will be provided. To RSVP: 812-689-5894.

Democrats Meeting

The Ripley County Democrats will meet March 12, Sherman House. Dinner, 6 p.m. and meeting, 7 p.m.  

Chad Varga Speaks

Former pro basketball player Chad Varga, Atlanta, will speak about overcoming adversity March 12, 6:30-7:30 p.m., Batesville High School auditorium, in a program sponsored by Choices Program, Margaret Mary Community Hospital and Stayin’ Alive.

“War Times” Music

“Tunes Through Time: War Times”  is  March 12, 6:30-8 p.m.,  Brookville Library.

Immaculata Club RSVP Deadline

The Immaculata Club, the Oldenburg Academy alumni local chapter, will have its annual St. Patrick and Stanley Party March 14, 6 p.m., Pam Scheele’s home.  Barbecue will be provided, but bring a covered dish. RSVP by March 12: Pam Scheele, 934-2433.
