East Central Horticulture Plant Sale

Dance

May 11, 8 p.m.-midnight, Holy Family Church gym. Music by Now and Then. Cost: $10. Bring your own beverages. Setups provided. Partial proceeds benefit Eagle Fire Co.’s pumper truck and local charities.

Batesville Kiwanis Family Carnival

May 11-12, downtown. May 11, noon-5 p.m., $12 and 5-11 p.m., $15; and May 12, noon-6 p.m., $15. Free kids’ fingerprinting Saturday, noon-2 p.m. Proceeds benefit Kiwanis Kids and Us programs, scholarships, Cub Scouts and youth soccer.

Batesville Knights of St. John Mission Team Gift Certificate Sale

Five Oaks Lawn and Garden gift certificates will be available through May 20 from team members, at Geis Electronics or Curves or by calling Mary Jo Wuestefeld at 934-3822. Proceeds help fund 30 youth and adults going to Parma, Ohio, in June to help the needy.
