Single Class

Basketball

Individuals will be allowed two minutes each to voice their opinions on a single class basketball tournament and the current multiple class format May 1, 7 p.m., Milan High School, one of 11 IHSAA meetings around the state.

 

Wednesday, May 2

La Leche League

La Leche League of Sunman, a breast-feeding support group, will meet May 2, 5-6 p.m., at Dr. Suzanne Martini’s office, Sunman. Expectant and breast-feeding moms welcome. Info: 812-654-2593.

Bingo

Prayer Breakfast

The National Prayer Breakfast, sponsored by the Batesville Kiwanis, Lions and Rotary clubs, is May 3, 7-8 a.m., Sherman House. Cost: $8. RSVP: 933-6100.

Batesville Free and Accepted Masonic Lodge 668 will hold its monthly meeting May 3, 7 p.m.

Masonic Breakfast

Batesville Masonic Lodge 668 will serve a monthly all-you-can-eat breakfast May 5, 6-10 a.m. Minimum donation: adults, $5; children 6-12, $3; under 6, free. Takeout orders: 934-3144.

Absentee Voting

Hoses Boxing

The Guns and Hoses charity boxing event is May 5, 7 p.m., Belterra Casino and Resort, Florence. Proceeds benefit the nonprofit Region 15 Children’s Advocacy Center, Dillsboro, and two other children’s charities.
