Holly Bruns 5K

Workshop

A free Vernacular Architecture Workshop is April 21, 10 a.m.-4 p.m., Whitewater Valley Gateway Park’s Brook-ville Depot, Metamora. Participants will learn to document a house with photographs and measured drawings and develop accurate site and floor plans, details and elevations of historic buildings. Earth Day/Arbor Day

Earth Day/Arbor Day is April 22, 11:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m., Batesville public library. Speakers and vendors will offer tips for vegetable gardening and drip irrigation and a storyteller will present American Indian ecology tales. Pecan seedlings will be given away.
