Saturday, Feb. 23

Baseball/Softball Sign-Ups

Batesville Youth Softball/Baseball sign-ups will be held Feb. 23, 9 a.m.-noon, Southeastern Indiana YMCA.

OFC Program

“How to Raise Backyard Chickens” will be presented Feb. 23, 9:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m., Oldenburg Franciscan Center. Cost: $45 includes lunch. Reservations: 933-6437 or center@oldenburgosf.com.

Zumbathon®

“Smilin’, Sweatin’ and Shakin’ for Safe Passage and New Directions,” a Zumbathon® dance par-ty to benefit those agencies that provide intervention services to domestic violence victims, is Feb. 23, 10 a.m.-1 p.m., Greensburg Elementary School. Bridal Expo

Tie Dye Workshop

A Tie Dye Workshop for children in grades K-6 is Feb. 23, 11 a.m., Tyson Library, 325 W. Tyson St., Versailles. To RSVP: 812-689-5894 or www.tysonlibrary.org.

Chili Supper

The New Point Kiwanis will host a chili supper and raffle Feb. 23, New Point Community Center. Supper, 4:30-7:30 p.m. Cost: adults, $5; ages 12 and under, $2.50. Raffle, 7 p.m.

Chicken Dinner

The St. Louis Youth Mission Team will host an all-you-can-eat chicken dinner Feb. 23, 5-8 p.m., Batesville Knights of Columbus hall. Cost: adults, $10; kids, $5. Carryouts available. Proceeds go toward the group’s summer mission trip to Muskegon, Mich.

Feb. 23-28

Freshmen Fundraiser

The Batesville High School freshmen class will be selling Buy One Get One Free cards Feb. 23-28. Cost: $5. Proceeds will be used for the class’ spring 2015 prom and graduation expenses. Info: Rosemary Moton, 934-4384, Ext. 12130.

Sunday, Feb. 24

Stillboard/Trap Shoot

The Batesville Veterans of Foreign Wars Men’s Auxiliary will have a stillboard and trap shoot Feb. 24, 11 a.m., Tri-Township Conservation Club, Oldenburg. Prizes: meat and money.
