Wednesday, Dec. 4

The Columbus Star Quilters Guild will meet Dec. 4, 9:30 a.m., Masonic Lodge, 4131 Rocky Ford Road. Wrap one quilt block for exchange and bring items for show and tell and food for potluck. Info: JayDee Edgell, 812-418-8669.

Light Up the Night Tree Lighting Celebration will take place Dec. 5. Luminaria lighting, 5 p.m., downtown; tree lighting, 6 p.m., Memorial Building; and free entertainment, 7 p.m., Gibson Theatre. Info: 933-6100.

“Knowledge for Not-for-Profits,” a free 90-minute workshop about best practices for outdoor events and festivals, is Dec. 5, 6 p.m., Versailles Lions Club Building, 202 W. Adults and children accompanied by adults are invited to the first meeting of the Batesville Memorial Public Library Ukulele Club Dec. 5, 6:30 p.m. The library has a limited number of ukuleles for use during the meeting. To register: 934-4706.
