Wednesday, Sept. 18

Historic beauty photographer Teresa Lowe will present a virtual driving tour of eight counties Sept. 18, 6:30 p.m., Brookville Library. Info: 765-647-4031.

Thursday, Sept. 19

St. Peter’s United Church of Christ, Osgood, will host a coffee social with full menu Sept. 19, 4:30-6:30 p.m. Freewill offering.

The Franklin County Cemetery Commission will meet Sept. 19, 5:30 p.m., Brookville Library.

Archaeologist Robert Genheimer of the Cincinnati Museum Center will tell the story of Umi, a small Egyptian mummy dating to the second century A.D., Sept. 19, 6:30 p.m., Brookville Library.

Thu.-Sat., Sept. 19-21

The Friends of the Batesville Memorial Public Library used book and media sale is Sept. 19-21, 9 a.m.-5 p.m., library annex, 10 W. Boehringer St. Members can shop early at 8:30 a.m. that Thursday. $2 per bag beginning Saturday at 3 p.m.

Friday, Sept. 20

A card party will take place Sept. 20, 1:30-4 p.m., St. Andrews Health Campus. Info: Kristin Rowland, 934-5090.

A Concert for Recovery sponsored by Stayin’ Alive Sept. 20, 7 p.m., Main Street Park next to Franklin County Community Foundation, Brookville, will honor individuals and families who are in long-term recovery from mental and/or substance use disorders.

Saturday, Sept. 21

The Jerry Becker Memorial Golf Outing is Sept. 21, 8 a.m., North Branch Golf Course, New Point. Cost: $60 per person. Proceeds benefit Batesville Community School Corp. special education students. Info: Jim Hortemiller, 934-5267.

The New Alsace Conservation Club’s annual golf outing is Sept. 21, Country View Golf Course, Dover. Tee time, 9 a.m. Cost: $60 per person or $240 per four-person team. Proceeds benefit kids going to the Karl E. Kelley Conservation Camp. Info: Rob Seig, 812-623-5144 or robseig@nalu.net.

A car wash will be held Sept. 21, 9 a.m.-3 p.m., Cross County Plaza parking lot below McDonald’s. Freewill offering. Proceeds help fund Knights of St. John youth mission trip.
