The Batesville Area Historical Society will meet Oct. 16, 7 p.m., Batesville Memorial Public Library.

 

Saturday, Oct. 20

Hartman Benefit

An online auction ending Oct. 20 will raise money for cancer medical treatments for Bob Hartman, Sunman.  Persons may donate and view items at www.32auctions.com/ hartmanfundraising event or www.facebook .com/HartmanFundraisingEvent. An event featuring food, booths, kids activities, a band and dancing will be held Oct. 20, 11 a.m.-11 p.m., Sunman American Legion. Info: 812-584-3307.

Harvest Dinner

St. Charles Catholic Church, Milan, will hold its ninth annual Harvest Dinner Oct. 20. Roast pork dinners served 4-7 p.m. Cost: adults, $10; kids 5-12, $4; and under 5, free. Carryouts available. Raffle, country store, pony rides for kids.
