The all-you-can-eat Batesville Veterans of Foreign Wars Men’s Auxiliary Breakfast is Aug. 25, 7 a.m.-noon. Freewill offerings.

St. Paul’s Ladies Sodality will host a hot breakfast bar buffet Aug. 25, 7:30 a.m.-noon, St. Paul’s Church hall, New Alsace. Freewill offering.

Monday, Aug. 26

United Families will meet Aug. 26, 6:30-8:30 p.m., Community Mental Health Center’s Intensive Youth Services office, 215 E. George St. Dinner and child care provided.

Aug. 26-Sept. 2

“Whipstitch Sallies,” presented by the Franklin County Arts Council, will perform foot-stomping music Aug. 30, 7 p.m., Franklin County High School auditorium, Brookville. $3 tickets are available at the door.

Sunday, Sept. 1

St. John’s, Enochsburg, church picnic is Sept. 1. Chicken and roast beef dinners served beginning at 11 a.m. Games, beer garden, raffles, silent auction.
