Saturday, Sept. 1

Masonic Breakfast

Batesville Masonic Lodge 668 will serve a monthly all-you-can-eat breakfast Sept. 1, 6-10 a.m. Minimum donation: adults, $5; children 6-12, $3; under 6, free. Takeout orders: 934-3144.

Car Wash

The Batesville High School volleyball program freewill donation car wash is Sept. 1, 9 a.m.-2 p.m., Batesville McDonald’s. Proceeds go to the Side Out Foundation for breast cancer research and awareness.

 

Monday, Sept. 3

Labor Day Festival

The St. Anthony Labor Day Festival with chicken and roast beef dinners is Sept.  3, 11 a.m.-4:30 p.m., church dining hall. Crafts, games, raffle, booths. Dinners cost $10, adults; $5, children. Carryouts.

 

Tuesday, Sept. 4

Scrapbooking

The Sassy Scrappers scrapbooking group for ladies 12 and older meets the first and third Tuesdays of each month, including Sept. 4, 6 p.m., Church on the Rock. Participants should bring their own supplies. RSVP: 934-3154.

Napoleon

Senior Club

The Napoleon Senior Club meets Sept. 4, 6 p.m., Napoleon Community Center. Bring a covered dish and table service. Info: Jean Huber, 934-2245.

Good Grief

Support Group

The next eight-week session of the free Dearborn County Hospital Home Health and Hospice Good Grief Support Group starts Sept. 6, 12:30-2 p.m., 370 Bielby Road, Lawrenceburg. Advance registration by Sept. 4 required: 800-676-5428.

La Leche League

Twilight Time Again!

It's Twilight Time Again! Sept. 8, 5-9 p.m., Whitewater Canal State Historic Site, Metamora, features a catered buffet dinner at Grist Mill Park, live music, a horse-drawn carriage ride and canal boat cruise. Cost: $35.
