Free movie

Free showings of the movie “Elf,” sponsored by YouthQuake, Stayin’ Alive’s Youth Council, will be shown Nov. 16-18, 7 p.m., Brookville Theatre. Info: 765-647-7272 or www.stayi nalive24.org.

 

Saturday, Nov. 17

November Noel

November Noel will be held Nov. 17, 2-6 p.m., Franklin County Courthouse lawn, Brookville. Pictures with Santa, food, games, reindeer.

 

Sunday, Nov. 18

Breakfast

The Sunman Area Life Squad freewill donation whole hog sausage and pancake breakfast is Nov. 18, 7 a.m.-noon, Sunman Elementary School. Info: 812-623-2763.

Breakfast

The Oldenburg Knights of St. John will host a breakfast Nov. 18, 7 a.m.-noon, Holy Family Church cafeteria, Oldenburg. Freewill offering. Partial proceeds benefit Tri-County Council for Special People and other local charities.

“Alice in Wonderland”

The Batesville High School Drama Club presents “Alice in Wonderland” Nov. 18, 2:30 p.m., auditorium. Tickets at $5 will be sold at the door. A Mad Hatter’s Tea Party is Nov. 18, 1 p.m. For an extra $5, students can mingle and have photos taken with costumed characters and enjoy cupcakes and juice.

Turkey Bingo/Raffle

The St. Paul’s Ladies Sodality annual turkey bingo and raffle is Nov. 18, 6 p.m., St. Paul’s Catholic Church hall, New Alsace. Doors open at 5 p.m. All proceeds benefit the parish and school.

 

Monday, Nov. 19

Food Drive

Batesville Venturing Crew 2634, a Boy Scouts program, is holding a Thanksgiving Food Drive to benefit area residents and the Batesville food pantry. Nonperishable food donations can be dropped off at Kellerman Law Office, 105 E. George St., through Nov. 19. Info and to arrange pickups: Natasha Kellerman at 933-1316.
