Social Networking

Batesville Christian Church is hosting a family ministry seminar, “Social Networking: What Parents Need to Know,” April 15, 6-8 p.m. RSVP: 934-5147.

Sunrise Service

An ecumenical service performed by over 80 voices from more than 18 area churches will be held April 15, 7 p.m., St. John’s United Church of Christ, Huntersville.

Golf Scramble

Early Registration

A four-player golf scramble to benefit Carey Hall, who was diagnosed with Lou Gehrig's disease (ALS),  is May 19, 12:15 p.m., Greensburg Country Club. The cost ($60 before April 15, $65 after) includes cart, prizes, snacks and awards dinner. Battle of the Bands Deadline

The deadline for area bands to register for the

Batesville Music Boosters Battle of the Bands is April 15. Registration forms are available at area high schools or by e-mailing aedwards@etczone.com or calling 934-6602. Cost: $20 per band. Limited to first eight bands to register. The competition will be held April 28, 7-11 p.m., Batesville Middle School commons.
