Spring Tea

Pool Tournament

A pool tournament for Batesville Eagles Aerie members will be held April 14, 3 p.m. Cost: $5 plus $1 table. Sign up at the bar. Info: 934-3610.

Chicken and Beef Supper

St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Crossroads, will have its annual chicken and beef supper April 14, 4:30-7:30 p.m. Freewill offering. Carryouts, adults, $8; children 10 and under, $4.

Jefferson-Jackson Dinner

The Franklin County Democratic Party’s annual Jefferson-Jackson Dinner with keynote speaker John Gregg, a candidate for governor, is April 14, Hearthstone Restaurant, Metamora. Social hour with cash bar, 5 p.m. Dinner, 6 p.m. Cost: $20. Tickets: Tom Vohland, 513-593-2345.

Dinner and Dance

The seventh annual Austin Rohrig Endowment Fund Dinner and Dance to raise awareness about Sudden Infant Death Syndrome and raise funds for SIDS research, scholarships and local youth is April 14, 5 p.m.-midnight, Milan Veterans of Foreign Wars Post. Concert Series

Mark Buselli and the Ball State University Big Band performs a free show as part of the Batesville Memorial Public Library After Hours Concert Series April 14, 7 p.m.

Breakfast

The Oldenburg Little League program is hosting a whole hog breakfast April 15, 7 a.m.-noon, Holy Family Church cafeteria, Oldenburg. Freewill offering. Raffle. Registration forms for players will also be available.

Fish Fry

The Friendship Volunteer Fire Department is having a fish fry April 15, 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Partial proceeds will be donated to the town of Holton.

Art Display

The Rural Alliance for the Arts Young Artist Showcase Art Winners Display is open to the public April 15, 3-4:30 p.m. at the Batesville public library. Attendees will be able to meet the artists in grades 6-12.
