Hospice 5K

The Hospice of Margaret Mary Community Hospital 5K is April 20, 8:30 a.m.,  parking lot. The cost to participate is $15. Registration begins at 7:30 a.m. Info and to register: mmhhospice5k.kintera.org or 933-5257.

OFC Program

After Hours Concert

Book Sale

Friends of the Greensburg-Decatur County Public Library will hold a book sale April 26, 9 a.m.-5 p.m.; April 27, 9 a.m.-4 p.m.; and April 28, 1-3 p.m. Friends members may attend an early bird sale April 25, 6 p.m. Info: 812-663-2826.

Earth Day

A one-hour Earth Day program for children in grades K-6 is April 27, 11 a.m., Tyson Library, 325 W. Tyson St., Versailles.

Battle of the Bands

The Batesville High School Battle of the Bands is April 27, 7-11 p.m., Batesville Middle School gym. Proceeds from $5 admissions will support BHS music programs. Info: Taaron Meyers, tmeyers@etczone.com or 934-6375.

Scholarship Deadline

The Franklin County Extension Homemakers are accepting applications for a $500 scholarship that will be awarded to a county senior who best meets the criteria. Applications, which must be postmarked by April 27, are available from high school guidance counselors, the extension office or www.extension.purdue.edu/franklin.

Toastmasters

La Leche League

FarmFresh CSA

Sign-up for reserving a share of FarmFresh CSA (Community-Supported Agriculture) weekly boxes of safe, naturally grown local produce continues until May 1. Pickup sites are midweek in Batesville and Bright. Info: www.laugheryvalleygrowers.com.
