Toastmasters

Batesville Toastmasters meetings, open to the public, are every other Wednesday, including April 3, noon-1 p.m. Info: 934-3462.

Auxiliary Meeting

The St. Louis/Knights of St. John Ladies Auxiliary will meet at the Knights home April 3, 1 p.m. Info: Katy Hortemiller, 934-5267.

La Leche League

La Leche League of Sunman, a breast-feeding support group, will meet April 3, 5-6 p.m., Dr. Suzanne Martini’s office, Sunman. Expectant and breast-feeding moms welcome. Info: 812-654-2593.

Sports Physicals

Sports physicals will be offered by Margaret Mary Community Hospital and its physicians to South Ripley athletes April 3, 5-7 p.m., Osgood Primary Care, The cost is $20.

Friends of the BMPL

The Friends of the Batesville Memorial Public Library will meet April 3, 7 p.m., BMPL meeting room.

FCSC Kindergarten Registration

Dog Obedience Classes Sign-Ups

The Franklin County Humane Society is having sign-ups for its spring dog obedience classes April 4, 6:30 p.m., 107 High St., Brookville. Also April 11. Persons must show proof of shot records. Cost: $75. Info: 765-265-4588.

Red Hat Deadline

The Red Hat Belles of Batesville will meet April 10, 11:15 a.m., Cross County Plaza, to carpol to The Reservation, Milan, for lunch at noon. Reservations due by April 4: Eleen Weisenbach, 934-3484.

Food Giveaway

A Ripley County Food Pantry large food giveaway is April 5, 11 a.m. until the food runs out, Osgood fairgrounds. Persons in need who live in Laughery, Center, Jackson, Johnson and Otter Creek townships are eligible.

Beautification League

Batesville Beautification League  meets the first Friday, including April 5, noon, Sherman House. New members welcome. Info: Judy Schath, 934-3234.

40 and 8 Game

The Ripley County Voiture 1047 40 and 8 All-Star Ball Game, Ripley County vs. Tri-County, is April 5, 6:30 p.m., Jac-Cen-Del High School. Cost: $5. Proceeds go to Nurses Training Fund.
