Red Cross

Open House

Persons may pick up free disaster books, tour the Red Cross Emergency Response Vehicle, volunteer and enjoy refreshments March 30, 8 a.m.-1 p.m., Batesville Kroger. All donations will stay local. Info: Charlie Israel, 812-212-9001.

Easter Egg Hunt

The Oldenburg Academy Alumni Association’s Easter egg hunt for kids up to age 10 is March 30, 10 a.m., Sisters of St. Francis grounds, Oldenburg. Bring baskets. Refreshments.

Easter Egg Hunt

The Batesville United Methodist Church Easter egg hunt is March 30, 10 a.m. In case of rain, it will be held inside. Bring baskets. Games and refreshments.

Kids of all ages are welcome at the New Testament Baptist Church, Sunman, Easter egg hunt March 30, 10 a.m. Bring baskets. Refreshments.

Sunday, March 31

Easter Musical

Easter will be celebrated with two ecumenical services: March 31, 6 a.m. and April 7, 7 p.m., St. John’s United Church of Christ, Huntersville. Over 80 voices from more than 18 churches will harmonize on “He is Worthy.”

Delaware United Methodist Church will host an Easter service March 31, 8:30 a.m.

Monday, April 1

D of I

The Daughters of Isabella will meet April 1, 7 p.m., Batesville Knights of Columbus hall. Bring a donation for the food pantry.

Tuesday, April 2

WWII Discussion Group

The World War II Discussion Group will meet April 2, 10 a.m., St. Andrews Health Campus. The Wolf Pack submarines will be discussed.

Financial Peace

The Southeastern Indiana YMCA is offering Dave Ramsey’s Financial Peace University for nine weeks beginning April 9, 6:30-8 p.m. A free preview day is April 2, noon and 6:30 p.m. Info and RSVP: Pauletta Meyer, 934-6006.

Napoleon Senior Club

The Napoleon Senior Club meets April 2, 6 p.m., Napoleon Community Center. Bring a covered dish and table service. Info: Jean Huber, 934-2245.

Knights of St. John

The Batesville Knights of St. John Commandery No. 243 will meet at the Knights home April 2, 7:30 p.m.
