Friday, Feb. 24

Fish Fry

Eagle Fire Co., Oldenburg, is hosting a fish fry Feb. 24, 4-7 p.m., Holy Family Catholic Church cafeteria, Oldenburg. Cost: adults, $9; children, $5.

St. Martin Catholic Church, Yorkville, is holding a fish fry Feb. 24, 4:30-7 p.m.

Spaghetti Dinner and Auction

Boy Scout Troop 620 will hold its 15th anniversary reunion Feb. 24, 6 p.m., St. Joseph Rectory, 7536 Church Lane, West Harrison. There will be a spaghetti dinner fundraiser and silent and live auctions. Proceeds go toward troop’s Washington, D.C. trip in June.

 

Saturday, Feb. 25

Venturing

A meeting about Venturing is Feb. 25, 1 p.m., Columbus Avenue one-room schoolhouse.  Venturing is the Boy Scouts of America teenage (13-20), coed program of challenging high-adventure activities and is a part of Batesville Boy Scout Troop 634. Ballroom Dance Lessons

Free ballroom dance lessons will be presented Feb. 25 and March 3, 5:30-6:30 p.m., Ault Chiropractic, 701 Tekulve Avenue. The final lesson takes place March 10 during the Glenn Miller Orchestra dinner/dance event. Info: 933-0355.

Stillboard/

Trap Shoot

Tri-Township Conservation Club, Oldenburg, will host a stillboard and trap shoot Feb. 26, 11 a.m.  Prizes: meat and money.

“God With Us”

Elaine Bergman and Pam Crum, Sunman, will present “God With Us,” a free classical, traditional and contemporary sacred music concert Feb. 26, 1:30 p.m., Adams Lutheran Church. Info: 812-623-3380.

Girl Scout Cookie Sale Ends

Area Girl Scouts will be selling cookies at local businesses, including Kroger, KTS Food Mart, Gillman Do It Best Home Center and Pamida, until Feb. 26.
