Saturday, March 16

Craft Show

The ACT for Christ Youth Ministry from St. John the Baptist, St. Paul, St. Joseph and St. Martin’s parishes will host a spring craft show March 16, 9 a.m.-4 p.m., St. John’s, Dover.

“Wreck-It Ralph”

Popcorn and drinks will be served for the screening of “Wreck-It Ralph,” rated PG, March 16, noon-1:50 p.m., Tyson Library, Versailles. To RSVP: 812-689-5894.

Chicken Dinner

A chicken dinner will be held March 16, 5-8 p.m., Batesville Knights of Columbus hall. Cost: adults, $10; ages 8 and under, $6. Carryouts available. Proceeds go to St. Anthony’s Haiti Mission.

Eagles Dance

A Batesville Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie 1130 dance featuring CRB is March 16, 8 p.m.-midnight.

Turtle Soup Sale

The St. Louis Mission Team is sponsoring a turtle soup sale March 16, 1-6 p.m., and March 17, 9 a.m.-noon or until sold out, St. Louis Activity Center. Cost: quart, $3; half gallon, $6; gallon, $12. Proceeds will help pay for its mission trip to Muskegon, Mich., this summer.

“Guys and Dolls”

The East Central High School drama and chorus departments will present “Guys and Dolls” March 16, 7:30 p.m.; and March 17, 3 p.m., performing arts center. Cost: adults, $7; students and senior citizens, $5; children under 5, free.

Breakfast

The Batesville Knights of Columbus will have their annual Gibault Breakfast March 17, 7-11 a.m. Freewill offering.

St. John the Baptist Church, Dover, Ladies Sodality is hosting an all-you-can-eat breakfast March 17, 7:30 a.m.-noon. Cost: adults, $8; kids 10 and under, $4.

St. Jacob’s United Church of Christ, Blue Creek, will host a sausage and pancake breakfast, bake sale and raffle March 17, 7:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m.

Stillboard Shoot

A Batesville Sons of the American Legion stillboard shoot is March 17, 11 a.m., Prell-Bland American Legion Post 271. Info: 934-2228.

Williams Benefit

The Joanne Williams fundraiser to help with cancer medical bills is March 17, 2 p.m., Gateway Park, Metamora, old Brookville Depot. The Hard Tyme Bluegrass Band will entertain. Cost: $3.
