Saturday, July 27

Kick Drugs Kids Karate Day for ages 4-18 is July 27, 9 a.m.-2 p.m., Southeastern Indiana YMCA. Speakers, martial arts moves and lunch. Cost: $5 for members, $10 for community members. To preregister: 934-6006.

A used book sale is July 27, 9 a.m.-3 p.m., Church on the Rock. All proceeds go to Safe Passage.

400 Mile Drawing and Chicken Dinner, hosted by American Legion Post 271, is July 27, dinner, 5-7 p.m.; drawing, 7 p.m. Carryouts available. Info: 934-2228.

The St. John’s United Church of Christ, Huntersville, church picnic is July 27, 5-8 p.m. Homemade ice cream, mock turtle soup, roast beef, games, homemade pie auction.

“The Fantasticks” will be presented by Tree County Players, Greensburg, July 27, 7 p.m., South Decatur High School. Cost: adults, $10; ages 18 and under, $5. Reserved tickets: 812-528-5289. Remaining tickets sold at door.

Sat.-Sun., July 27-28

A rummage sale is July 27, 9 a.m.-3 p.m.; and July 28, 8 a.m.-1 p.m., Holy Family School, Oldenburg. On Saturday, all clothing and miscellaneous will be half price. Sunday is $2 a bag.
