Fish Fry

St. Martin Catholic Church, Yorkville, is holding a fish fry March 16, 4:30-7 p.m.

BluegrassFamily Night

Bluegrass Family Night features Lost and Found Band and All American Bluegrass Band March 16, 6 p.m., Whitewater Valley Gateway Park, Metamora. Admission: $15. Doors open at 4 p.m. for $7 dinner.

Dance

The St. Louis Mission Team is sponsoring an adult dance with music by DJ Tunes March 16, 7-11 p.m., Batesville Knights of Columbus hall. Cost: $5. Tickets available at the door. Cash bar, split the pot. All proceeds go toward cost of mission trip.

Red Cross Info

The Franklin County Red Cross is distributing informational materials March 16, 5-8 p.m.,  and March 17, 8 a.m.-1 p.m., Batesville Kroger lobby and its emergency response vehicle outside. Info: Charlie Israel, 934-4867.

Car Wash

The Oldenburg Academy Tennis Team is holding a car wash March 17, 8 a.m.-noon, Giesting Financial parking lot. Freewill offering.

5K Walk/Run

The Batesville Music Boosters Sham-Rockin’ 5K Walk/Run is March 17, 9:30 a.m., Batesville Middle School. The registration fee is $18 ($2 more for an XXL T-shirt) on race day, when registration starts at 8:30 a.m. Registration forms are available at www. StuartRoad Racing.com or The Herald-Tribune. Great Green

Restaurant Race

The Batesville Area Chamber of Commerce Great Green Restaurant Race is March 17, 11 a.m., corner of George and Main streets. Workers at full-service restaurants dress up and compete in races for time and accuracy.

Super Bingo

A $5,000 Super Bingo will be held March 17, Sunman American Legion. Doors open at 2 p.m. Roast beef dinner, 3-5 p.m.; Early bird games, 5:30 p.m.; regular games, 6 p.m. Cost: $35, includes 14 regular games, four special games and dinner. Info: 812-623-2972.
