Fish Fry

St. Martin Catholic Church, Yorkville, is holding a fish fry March 9, 4:30-7 p.m.

Fish Fry, Potato Bar and Cake Walk

Youth participants of the Catholic and Capable Faith Formation Program are sponsoring a fish fry, baked potato bar and cake walk March 9, 4:30-7:30 p.m., St. Nicholas Parish Hall, Sunman. Proceeds help fund a youth retreat.

Coaches vs. Cancer

“Grease”

The East Central High School chorus and drama department will present “Grease” March 9-10, 7:30 p.m.; and March 11, 3 p.m., Performing Arts Center. Tickets can be purchased at the door: adults, $7; students and senior citizens, $5.

Large Item Pickup

On March 10, Batesville offers curbside pickup of large items from residents’ homes starting at 5 a.m. Acceptable items: clothing; furniture, bedsprings and mattresses; rugs and carpet pieces; rubber hose; appliances; wood, bundled 4 feet or shorter, 75 pounds maximum; insulation; cans and buckets, totally cleaned and dry; paint cans containing dried paint only. Refrigera-tors, air-conditioning units and freezers  must have stickers showing chlorofluorocarbons were removed. Info: 933-6100.

Toy and Clothing Sale/Craft Bazaar

Kindergarten Registration

Batesville Primary School will have kindergarten registration March 15, 8:15 a.m.-2:15 p.m. and 5-7:15 p.m., BPS cafeteria and gym. Children must be 5 on or before Aug. 1.
