Wednesday, June 18

On June 18, the Greensburg-Decatur County Public Library will host ”Do Play With Your Food” for grades 1-5, 10 a.m.; and Life Size Sorry Game for grades 3-12, 2 p.m. Info and RSVP: 812-663-2826 or www.greensburglibrary.org.

The Southeastern Indiana YMCA Music and Arts Festival 5K is June 18, 5:30 p.m., registration starts at 4:30 p.m., Liberty Park. Entry fees are $15 per person or $40 per household, but shirts can’t be guaranteed. Entry forms are available at the Y or www.siymca.org. The Batesville Music and Arts Festival offers three evenings of entertainment: June 18, Indianapolis Jazz Orchestra, 7:30 p.m., Liberty Park (rain location Batesville High School auditorium), food by Batesville Kiwanians, 6 p.m. on; June 19, Rural Alliance for the Arts Community Art Show, 5-8 p.m., Community Church of Batesville, 103 E. George St.; free Batesville Area Historical Society cookout, 4-6:30 p.m., museum garden, 15 W. George St.; Mother Grove, a Celtic rock band, performs, 7-9 p.m., parking lot across from the church; June 20, Country Showdown, 7 p.m., Liberty Park pavilion, presented by Batesville radio station WRBI and Jim True Ford, Brookville, food by Batesville Kiwanians.

Thursday, June 19

On June 19, the Greensburg-Decatur County Public Library will host a Make and Take Craft, a marshmallow robot, in the children’s room while supplies last; T’ween program – Lava Lamps and Bubbles, for grades 3-5, 10 a.m.; and Spark your Science!
