400 Mile Drawing and Chicken Dinner, hosted by American Legion Post 271, is July 27, dinner, 5-7 p.m.; drawing, 7 p.m. Carryouts available. Info: 934-2228.

The St. John’s United Church of Christ, Huntersville, church picnic is July 27, 5-8 p.m. Homemade ice cream, mock turtle soup, roast beef, games, homemade pie auction.

Sunday, July 28

The Knights of Columbus will host a breakfast July 28, 7:30 a.m.-1 p.m., St. Teresa Church, Bright. Cost: adults, $7; kids 10 and under, $3.

Church on the Rock, Versailles, and Versailles Community Church are co-hosting a healing prayer service July 28, 10 a.m., Church on the Rock. Info: 934-5192.
