The New Point Christian Church Live Nativity is Dec. 24, 7-9 p.m., 1815 S. County Road 800 E. just off State Road 46.

 

Sunday, Dec. 25

Live Nativity

The St. Anthony’s Catholic Church, Morris, Nativity scene with live animals will be open through Dec. 25.

 

Monday, Dec. 26

Lost and Found

Lost and Found, for those who have lost a loved one, are going through a divorce or just need someone to talk to, meets Dec. 26, 2:15-3:30 p.m., Batesville Memorial Public Library. Info: Julie Schomber, 932-0379.

YMCA Registration

The Southeastern Indiana YMCA Winter 2012 session program registration begins Dec. 26 for members and Dec. 29 for potential members. Programs begin Jan. 2. Info: www.siymca.org or 934-6006.

Masonic Program

Dennis Herrell, Indiana Free and Accepted Masons past grand master, will be the guest speaker at the Batesville Masonic Lodge 668 Annual Table Lodge Dinner celebrating the feast of St. John the Evangelist Dec. 27, 6:30 p.m. Info and RSVPs: Al Anness, 933-5468.

BMPL Trustees

The Batesville Memorial Public Library Board of Trustees will meet Dec. 28, 5 p.m.

Christmas Tours

Sisters of St. Francis Christmas Tours are Dec. 28, 6-8 p.m., Oldenburg convent. Displays of a tree with nature ornaments, crèches and themed decorations; chime choir; and refreshments.

 

Saturday, Dec. 31

Bird Count

The local Audubon Christmas Bird Count hosted by Michaela Farm and the Oldenburg Franciscan Center is Dec. 31, 7:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m., the farm’s brick barn, Oldenburg. Persons should register by Dec. 28 at 933-6437 to be included in the lunch reservation.

HollywoodNights

“Hollywood Nights,” an over-21 New Year’s Eve dance, will be held Dec. 31, 8 p.m., Klee Hall, St. Mary’s. Dress as a favorite actor/actress. Cost: $10. Bring your own beverages.
