Batesville Free and Accepted Masonic Lodge 668 will meet Nov. 7, 7 p.m.

The Red Hat Belles of Batesville will meet for lunch Nov. 13, noon, Ertel’s Bistro and Winery. Reservations needed by Nov. 7: Eleen Weisenbach, 934-3484.

Friday, Nov. 8

A cod dinner buffet will be held Nov. 8, 4-7 p.m., St. John Lutheran Church, Hubbells Corner. Freewill offering.

The Franklin County Democratic Party fall fundraiser is Nov. 8, Knights of Columbus Hall, Brookville. Doors open, 5:30 p.m.; dinner, 6 p.m.; raffle/auction, 7 p.m. The $20 tickets can be purchased at the door. Info: Tom Vohland, 513-593-2345.

Applications to be in the Nov. 23 Batesville Area Chamber of Commerce Holiday Parade or man a food or craft booth are due Nov. 8. Forms are available on the Web site http://batesvillein.com, click on Community, then Event Apps; The Herald-Tribune and WRBI.

Saturday, Nov. 9

Batesville curbside pickup of large items from residents’ homes is Nov. 9 starting at 5 a.m. Acceptable items: clothing; furniture, bedsprings and mattresses; rugs and carpet pieces; rubber hose; appliances; wood, bundled 4 feet or shorter, 75 pounds maximum; insulation; cans and buckets, totally cleaned and dry; paint cans containing dried paint only. Refrigerators, air-conditioning units and freezers must have stickers showing chlorofluorocarbons were removed. Info: 933-6100.

The St. Maurice Catholic Church Fall Smorgasbord is Nov. 9, from 4-7:30 p.m., parish activity center, Napoleon. Cost is $10 for adults, $4 for children 6-12, free for younger kids.

A turkey dinner will be held Nov. 9, 4:30-6:30 p.m., Batesville United Methodist Church. Carryout, 4-6:30 p.m. Cost: adults, $10; children, $5.

Montana Skies will perform Nov. 9, 7 p.m., as part of the Batesville Memorial Public Library’s After Hours Concert Series. Info: www.ebatesville.com/library/after.html or 934-4706.

Sunday, Nov. 10

The Morris Volunteer Firemen’s Breakfast is Nov. 10, 7 a.m.-1 p.m., Schad Hall, Morris. Freewill offering. Proceeds go toward equipment.
