Monday, Oct. 28

United Families will meet Oct. 28, 6:30-8:30 p.m., Community Mental Health Center’s Intensive Youth Services office, 215 E. George St. Dinner and child care provided.

The Southeastern Indiana Right to Life will meet Oct. 28, 7 p.m., Church of Christ, Jarvis Drive, Versailles.

The Ripley County Chamber of Commerce is sponsoring a Lunch and Learn Workshop, featuring Becca Rust, a professional sales trainer and coach, Oct. 31, 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m., REMC Training Center, Osgood. Lunch, 11 a.m. Cost: chamber members, $10; nonmembers, $15. RSVP by Oct. 28: 812-689-6654.

The 4-H Fun & Friendly Halloween, providing free, not-too-scary trick-or-treating and holiday fun for young children, is Oct. 29, 5-7 p.m., county fairgrounds, Brookville.

GriefShare: Surviving the Holiday Events is Nov. 7, 6 p.m., St. John’s United Church of Christ, Huntersville. A 40-minute video and group discussion will help persons deal with grief during the holiday season. RSVPs by Oct. 29 are appreciated: Kari Ann Rennekamp, 812-212-2702.
