Used Book Sale
A Friends of Batesville Memorial Public Library sale is March 8-10, 9 a.m.-5 p.m., library annex, 10 W. Boehringer St. Friends members may browse and buy Thursday starting at 8:30 a.m., and persons can join at the door for $5. During the sale’s last two hours, March 10, 3-5 p.m., a customer may fill a bag for $2.

Fish Fry, Potato Bar and Cake Walk
Youth participants of the Catholic and Capable Faith Formation Program are sponsoring a fish fry, baked potato bar and cake walk March 9, 4:30-7:30 p.m., St. Nicholas Parish Hall, Sunman. Proceeds will help fund a spring break youth retreat.
Coaches vs. Cancer
The Coaches vs. Cancer charity basketball game, sponsored by Margaret Mary Community Hospital and Southeastern Indiana YMCA, is March 9, 6 p.m., Batesville Middle School gym. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. Cost: $5. Proceeds go to the American Cancer Society to fight cancer in Dearborn and Ripley counties and YMCA youth programs. Info: David Hoover, 934-6006.
