St. Louis Concert

The St. Louis School Grades 5-8 instrumental Christmas concert is Dec. 17, 2 p.m., Activity Center.

Tuesday, Dec. 18

Children’s Christmas Party

A Christmas Party with Santa for prekindergartners through third-graders is Dec. 18, 7 p.m., Batesville library.

Wednesday, Dec. 19

Batesville Toastmasters

The Batesville Toastmasters meeting, which is open to the public, is Dec. 19, noon-1 p.m. Info: 934-3462.

The Batesville Christian Church blood drive is Dec. 19, 1:30-7 p.m., fellowship hall.  Donors who have previously given blood at the church can register for an appointment by visiting www.hoxworth.org/groups/bcc; others will need to call the church office, 934-5147.

OFC Program

A contemplative prayer program will be presented Dec. 19, 3-4:30 p.m., Oldenburg Franciscan Center. Cost: $5. Info and reservations: 933-6437 or center@oldenburgosf. com.

BMPL Trustees

The Batesville Memorial Public Library Board of Trustees will meet Dec. 19, 5 p.m.

SES Concert

The Sunman Elementary School Christmas concert is Dec. 19, 7 p.m., East Central High School Performing Arts Center.

Gingerbread House Workshop

Secular Franciscans

The Secular Franciscans, a fraternity for lay people who want to follow the rule of life of St. Francis of Assisi, will meet Dec. 20, 6:30 p.m., Holy Family Catholic Church, Oldenburg, Father Rudolf Room.

Choir Concert

The Batesville High School and Batesville Middle School holiday choir concert is Dec. 20, 7 p.m., BHS auditorium.

Saturday, Dec. 22

Reindeer Games

Advent Prayer Service

The Sisters of St. Francis Advent prayer service is Dec. 22, 1:30-2:30 p.m., Oldenburg Franciscan Center. Afterwards attendees may view Birth 2012 global Web casts organized by The Shift Network.

Live Nativity

The 45th New Point Christian Church Live Nativity is Dec. 22-24,  7-9 p.m., just off State Road 46.
