“Becoming the

Village of Spires”

“Becoming the Village of Spires,” an entertaining and inspiring play celebrating the history of Oldenburg, will be presented Dec. 1, 7 p.m., and Dec. 2, 2 p.m., Oldenburg Academy auditorium. Cost: adults, $10; ages 3-12, $7. Tickets are available at the Village Store and Schwestern Art Gallery, Oldenburg, or from Gary Munchel, 934-6582.

Breakfast

St. Mary’s of the Rock annual whole hog sausage and pancake breakfast is Dec. 2, 7 a.m.-noon, Klee Hall. Freewill offering. Christmas Corner. Proceeds benefit Religious education.

Stillboard Shoot

Batesville Sons of the American Legion will host a stillboard shoot Dec. 2, 11 a.m., Prell-Bland American Legion Post 271. Info: 934-2228.

Stillboard/Trap Shoot

The Oldenburg Knights of St. John will host a stillboard and trap shoot Dec. 2, 11 a.m., Tri-Township Conservation Club, Oldenburg. Prizes: meat and money. Partial proceeds benefit Tri-County Council for Special People.

Stillboard Shoot

A variety stillboard shoot will be held Dec. 2, noon, St. Nicholas Church, Sunman. Proceeds benefit St. Nicholas School.

 

Tuesday, Dec. 4

WWII Discussion Group

The World War II Discussion Group will meet Dec. 4, 10 a.m., St. Andrews Health Campus. The discussion will center on the comments and memories of two 90-year-old World War II veterans.

Scrapbooking

The Sassy Scrappers scrapbooking group for ladies 12 and older meets the first and third Tuesdays of each month, including Dec. 4, 6 p.m., Church on the Rock. Participants should bring their own supplies. RSVP: 934-3154.
