The Metamora Old-Fashioned Christmas Walk is Dec. 13-14, 10 a.m.-10 p.m.; Dec. 15, 10 a.m.-5 p.m.

Saturday, Dec. 14

A cookie walk will be held Dec. 14, 9 a.m.-noon, St. Lawrence School’s Fr. Hartzer Hall, 524 Walnut St., Lawrenceburg.

Dream Workshop: Our Personal Wisdom will be presented Dec. 14, 9:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m., Oldenburg Franciscan Center. Cost: $45-$65. Info: 933-6437 or center@oldenburgosf.com.

Children may meet with Santa Dec. 14, 12:30-2:30 p.m. in his house downtown. Sponsored by Batesville Area Chamber of Commerce.

“Bluegrass Christmas” featuring Tony Holt & The Wildwood Valley Boys and others is Dec. 14, 6:30 p.m., Milan Veterans of Foreign Wars Hall. The Anneliese Von Oettingen School of Ballet will present “The Nutcracker” Dec. 14, 7 p.m., Franklin County High School Lew Wallace Auditorium. Sponsored by Franklin County Arts Council. Cost: adults, $8; students and senior citizens ages 62 and up, $4; kids under 4 and active military personnel, free. Tickets available at FCN Bank, Brookville, and at the door.

The Sons of the American Legion will host a stillboard shoot Dec. 15, 11 a.m., Prell-Bland American Legion Post 271, 2899 E. Legion Road. Info: 934-2228.

The Clyde Flodder/Mule Nobbe Memorial Shoot is Dec. 15, 11 a.m., Tri-Township Conservation Club. Partial proceeds will go to the American Heart Fund and Cancer Fund.
